Ending Well, Beginning Well

How are you at making resolutions? How about follow through?

Quite honestly, I stink at completing long term commitments. Especially ones I’ve made clear back at the beginning of the calendar year.

I mean, I could act like I have all my stuff together. I could give you 5 Ways to Be Successful in Achieving Your Goals for the New Year. Or I could tell you a long detailed story of how I have failed in fulfilling past resolutions, complete with ideas on how to alter the downward spiral.

But instead, I’m simply going to encourage you to look at the Scriptures and follow their commands. Because God can say it SO much better than I can.

So how about this for some New Year’s goals. Let’s…

SEEK – first His Kingdom.

TRUST – in the Lord with all our hearts.

CAST – our cares on Him. Because He cares about us.

And…

LOVE – the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, and minds. (Psst… don’t forget about loving His people. And loving them well.)

And with that, we’ll close out the year. What a good, hard, stretching year it has been. And it is with HOPE that we look forward to what He has for us in the coming year.

We love you, sweet sisters! We are so thrilled and honored to be a part of this community with you. We pray God’s richest blessings on you and your family in 2017. May His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Grace and peace, dear ones.
