A Letter From Us to You

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be

on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor,

Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. // Isaiah 9:6

Dear friends,

We at The Masterpiece Mom want to wish you the most wonderful Christmas celebration.

It’s so fun for us to mother alongside you and come together around a common goal: to love God and serve our families with all that we’ve been given. It’s not easy, and that’s why we’re so thankful we get to do it with you.

Isn’t it crazy how the internet can bring people together? Our own mothers and grandmothers never got to experience online communities like this. It’s so strange to think about! When used the right way, the internet is quite the amazing tool for a mom. We pray all we bring into your life via the written or spoken word is a blessing to you, and makes you feel that much less alone as you raise your children and grow closer to God through the years.

We’re so happy you’re here, and are excited to see what 2018 holds for us all. As you relax with family and friends these next several days, we hope you’ll eat lots of goodies, play some games, and soak up this season of remembering the first advent of Jesus.

We’ll be back in 2018 with fresh content to help and encourage you in your life as a mom! We can’t wait.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from our families to yours,

Amanda & Anne-Renee

  1. Hi Amanda and Anne Renee. My name is Katie. I’m not a mom by the way. I’m just a 16 year old teen. I would love some prayer, I have had a lot of anxiety lately and I don’t exactly know why. My mind is racing with thoughts, and two nights, I had a sad dream that felt so real, I felt my heart break in real life and I felt the tears running down my face. Just the life of a teen is weighing me down, and my mom not doing well most days with her condition. My anxiety levels can easily rise so fast. I have grown up in church my whole life, and I have a huge heart for Jesus. Sometimes right now, I ask God if he is still there, he always answers “Hold your head up, I have never left your side” and it warms my heart in the midst of all this anxiety and confusion.

    • We’re so glad you commented, Katie. (and I’m so glad to know you in real life too!) We’re praying you feel at peace because He’s right there and always will be. šŸ™‚
